The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is the pioneer department of the Faculty of Engineering. The discipline of EEE can be felt in almost every aspect of our modern life. It is not an exaggeration to say that all aspects of social infrastructure known to mankind are based on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The EEE program at Nile University of Nigeria is accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Our comprehensive curriculum provides the students with the ability to identify, formulate, and execute solutions to real-world problems. Our students learn how to use modern engineering tools in our well-equipped laboratories, with activities that reinforce the concepts learned in the classroom. Our curriculum emphasizes fundamental understanding of theory and design, which culminates in a capstone Senior Design Project integrating materials learned in earlier courses. Our well-established Industrial Training program enables students to strengthen the connections between theory and practice in a professional setting and provides valuable industrial experience.
In this department, you will acquire theoretical and practical experiences in the different branches of EEE such as electronics, computers, circuits, electromagnetic fields, power systems, controls, communications, signal processing, solid state materials and devices, and much more.
The department offers the following degree/diploma programmes.
Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.), Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD.) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD.) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
